Reading a Real Script

Tour the patterns inside Phyllux Tech maintenance scripts.

Read top to bottom. Run only what you trust.

Open a maintenance script the way you open a pamphlet: title comment, requirements, helpers, main flow, log. Phyllux Tech scripts often share Write-Log, $PSScriptRoot, and before → after prints on settings changes.

What to hunt for

#requires / #Requires -RunAsAdministrator
$ErrorActionPreference
Hard coded paths (change them for your machine)
Functions vs main body
Any Remove- or Stop- that needs a second look

WorkshopPick one of your own .ps1 files. Write a five line summary at the top if it lacks one. Future you is the audience.
