You stand in your kitchen, the morning light filtering through the curtains, casting a warm glow on the countertops. The air is filled with the faint hum of the refrigerator and the occasional tick of the clock on the wall. You pour a cup of coffee, the sound of the coffee maker a familiar background noise. As you sip, you notice the sticky drawer to your left, its resistance barely noticeable but persistently grating on your nerves. You ignore it, telling yourself it’s just a minor annoyance, a small obstacle that won’t significantly impact your day.
