Fiber cut in the alley

Someone dug up the Telus line. They fixed it in three days. I also cleaned up my phone plan.

Unlimited data. Device care dropped. Bill about the same.

The neighborhood Telus fiber got cut in the alley. Dug up. Gone. They fixed it in about three days, which is better than the worst version of that story.

While that mess was in motion I upgraded the phone plan to unlimited data and dropped device care so the bill stayed about the same. Practical, not romantic. When your line is unreliable you stop pretending a tiny data bucket is a personality.

I build on a desk that needs a network. Soft Margins, Novelmate, Stripe checks, email packs for artists. Fiber is boring until it is not. Then it is the whole day.
