Why I am writing here
A public notebook on phyllux.com. Books, software, and the work on the table.
I am David E. Sproule. I live in Edmonton. I run Sproule Lit on this site, I built Novelmate Studio so I can draft books on a machine I own, and I spend a lot of days on Phyllux work with Paul Chartier.
For a long time the writing happened in private folders and the storefront did the talking. That split started to feel dishonest. If someone lands here they should be able to hear me, not only a catalog.
This journal is that voice. It will cover the books, the local pipeline, the recovery notebook called Today, and the days when the Edmonton shop work (sites, apps, stubborn PCs) pays the rent while the literary house grows.
I will not pretend a listing is live when it is not. I will not call a method proven because we arranged it neatly. I will not dump a private letter onto the internet and call it marketing.
If you want the shop, stay on Shop. If you want the method Paul already put in the world, go to . If you want to know what I am actually doing this week, you are in the right room.
