Two trips to the store

Supper, chores, a walk for refreshments, and a debit card left on the counter. The ordinary evening still counts.

Second trip. The debit card is already on the counter at home.

Of course I left it there.

Tonight was not a launch. It was supper, chores, and a walk to the store for refreshments. Then a second walk, because I left my TD Visa debit card on the counter. Of course I did.

I am writing that down on purpose. This journal has product days and partnership days. It also needs the nights where the work waits and the body still has to move through a neighborhood. The shop does not pause life. Life pauses the shop for an hour, then you come back and keep going.

I am back at the desk now. Novelmate is still chewing through the last three pen name books in the background. That is fine. I ate. I walked. I fixed my own forgetfulness. That is a win.
